Characters that think when you're away
How Kumi keeps narrative continuity alive between sessions through reflections and journals.

In Kumi, conversations don't end when you close the app. Characters process what they experienced with you — they reflect, write in their journal, connect ideas from previous sessions.
This means that when you come back, the character doesn't pick up from the last message. It picks up from its last reflection. It might mention something it was thinking about, or show a subtle shift in how it relates to you.
It's not magic and it's not random. These are scheduled reflections based on what actually happened in your conversations. Real narrative evolution, not simulated.
The goal is simple: for the relationship to feel alive. For the time between sessions to be part of the story, not a void.
